Zenit Petersburg vs Crvena Zvezda (-9.5) 150.5
Zenit Petersburg
This is the least appealing game on the slate for me, with a projected pace close to 69 possessions and a very low scoring total.
With that in mind, I will just focus on the usual suspects, of Pangos, Thomas and Poythress. Especially the two PF have very good prices.
Hollins, Rivers and Baron are viable but who is going to go off every game is a difficult thing to predict.
Crvena Zvezda
Loyd, Walden and O’Bryant play a lot and have high usage. Lloyd’s price is very expensive when we are considering the DVP and pace, so I am going to fade him tonight.
So, maybe I will have some O’Bryant in my lineups but I am not that interested in the Crvena Zvezda’s players.
Priority Plays: Thomas, Poythress
Secondary Plays: Pangos, Rivers, Walden, O’Bryant
Anadolu Efes vs Barcelona (3.5) 151.5
Anadolu Efes
Efes cannot stay healthy and find them to get back to the form they had last season.
In the previous game, Theis did not play and Dunston ended up playing almost 38 minutes. Tonight, against a Barcelona team that will not have Davies, I expect him to get a ton of minutes again.
Larkin is so not playing well this season and that affects his minutes total. His price is at 14.5 and you want 25-30 minutes out of a guy at this range to get value, so I will pass.
Micic and Simon are the ones I will be focusing on and also Moerman, as I feel that he will have a good game.
Barcelona
Mirotic is the obvious choice. Getting minutes, is effective and has a ton of usage.
Calathes can get points in a hurry but I am concerned about his minutes, although he will be in my player pool, as Higgins and Abrines.
Smits and Kuric got 20+ minutes last game, so I will consider them also.
Priority Plays: Mirotic, Dunston
Secondary Plays: Micic, Simon, Smits, Calathes, Kuric, Moerman
Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Panathinaikos (-6.5) 157.5
Maccabi Tel Aviv
Wilbekin is always in play for me, no matter the price tag.
Bryant, Dorsey, Caloiaro, Zizic, Hunter, are all priced fairly and will be in my player pool. If Hunter is out, Zizic will become a priority for me and I will add Bender also to my plays.
Panathinaikos
I keep selecting Nedovic but I just cannot seem to get him right. I will have him again but cannot recommend him as a top play.
Papapetrou and Papagiannis look good, although the price is high for my taste.
If Mack is in, I like him a lot and if he is out , I like Sant-Roos a lot.
White is too expensive now, so I would prefer Bentil but honestly who knows who will go off from Panathinaikos bigs?
Priority Plays: Wilbekin, Papapetrou, Papagiannis
Secondary Plays: Bryant, Zizic, Nedovic, Mack, Sant-Roos
Asvel vs CSKA (7.5) 158.5
Asvel
Fall and Lighty are the main target from ASVEL, for me.
I Yabusele and Cole will be in my player pool also but I do not want to have a lot of exposure to ASVEL.
CSKA
Mike James is on fire for 2 months now and I will keep on riding him until he stops getting these numbers!
The man averages almost a triple double for 5 games now!
Clyburn is priced too low in my opinion and both Shengelia-Milutinov will be in my player pool, given that Bolomboy will be again out tonight.
Hilliard is the second-best play below 10m on the slate in my opinion, since he is playing 25+ minutes and averaging close to 10 shots per game.
Priority Plays: James, Hilliard, Clyburn
Secondary Plays: Fall, Lighty, Milutinov, Shengelia, yabusele
Real Madrid vs Alba Berlin (-11.5) 164.5
Real Madrid
Trey Thompkins at 9.9m, without Randolph, against Berlin? This is just too cheap.
Deck is also way too cheap at 8.4 but I am not sure about his minutes.
Abalde and Garuba are in my player pool and I will be using them in a lot of lineups.
Tavares and Llull are good producers but at 14m, don’t offer much value.
Alba Berlin
I like some players from Berlin, but the match-up makes me think twice about locking them in.
Sikma and Giffey are solid values and steady performers and the absence of Siva, makes Granger and Lo look like good choices.
Olinde is getting a lot of minutes lately but is a very bad per minute producer.
Mattisseck looks to be a good value at 5.5 but again, is he going to give us 10+ points against Real Madrid?
Priority Plays: Thompkins, Lo
Secondary Plays: Deck, Abalde, Garuba, Granger, Giffey, Sikma, Tavares.

Top 5
This is NOT a reflection of my “personal” rankings of players. This is simply a quick list of the Top 5 players, by position, ranked using projections and their price tags. This does not take into account individual defensive matchups. It is simply a raw output. I will likely write about guys that I like that are not on this table. I will also likely talk about guys that are in this table that I think stink. Please do not use this tab as anything more than a quick guide. |
