Real Madrid vs Maccabi Tel Aviv (-7) 162.5

This game has the highest total on the slate and the biggest margin also. Not sure I agree with both of those numbers to be honest but I always believe that the bookmakers know best, so I will follow their lead.

DFS wise the game has a lot of opportunities.

If you are new to Euroleague DFS here are some pointers for you. It is very difficult to predict rotations in European basketball in general, and the most difficult of all is Madrid’s rotations.

Pablo Laso has a very deep squad and likes to utilize it to the fullest. So, players like Campazzo, Tavares, Randolph, and Thompkins who would be getting 28+ minutes in other Euroleague teams, in Madrid get 18-23 minutes.

As you can understand, puts a cap on their DFS production.

And after that intro let’s get to the picks.

Tavares will be my first choice from Madrid, since he will be in a favorable match up and lately his minutes are steady, despite the foul troubles.

Campazzo is always an option and has a double-double potential in every game but at that price, we would need him to have a great game.

From the forwards, Thompkins and Abalde would be my choices, since I am tired of picking Randolph and him not delivering ( queue the Randolph monster game now).

From the Maccabi side, Wilbekin will have a huge game at one point and I believe he is close to that but at 13m I won’t have him as a lock.

Dorsey and Bryant can have big games together but I would not recommend picking them together tonight. Dorsey projects slightly better for tonight’s game so I would go with him.

Zizic has a difficult matchup and Hunter might be able to play in this game, so I do not see any upside there, especially at that price. If Hunter is out though, I will have him in my lineups.

Priority Plays: Tavares, Campazzo, Dorsey

Secondary Plays: Wilbekin, Thompkins, Zizic, Caloiaro, Abalde

Alba Berlin vs ASVEL (-4.5) 160.5

Two of the worst teams in the Euroleague are facing each other in Berlin.

This might not mean quality basketball but, usually, we have a lot of opportunities DFS wise, especially because the prices of this players are not high.

Sikma and Granger are my top options from the Berlin side.

Sikma is heating up lately, averaging 21.7 points in the last 5 games and will face an opponent that gives up 1.04 fantasy points to his position.

Granger on the other side has an even better match up, 1.12 points OVP and has also been quite good lately, 20.1 points in the last 5, against stronger opposition.

Giffey and Lammers are 2 nice cheaper options and I would take a flyer on Maodo Lo, mostly because he is bad this season but his historic numbers suggest that he is better then that and ASVEL offers a great opportunity for him to get going.

From the French side, Fall will be my main guy. His season has been amazing so far and Alba has noone to stop him down low.

With Cole out for another game, Diot is also an interesting option with Kahudi and Yabusele rounding out my picks from this game.

Priority Plays: Sikma, Fall, Granger

Secondary Plays: Giffey, Diot, Lammers, Lo, Yabusele, Kahudi

Olimpia Milano vs Crvena Zvezda (-5.5) 151.5

The last game for tonight has the lowest total also.

Sergio Rodriguez is always an option and despite the steep price I like him a lot.

Shields and Micov kind of cancel each other out but I will have them in my players pool since they are both capable of having big games.

The forward that I am interested the most from Milan is Leday. His price is too low, the match up is very good and although he has not been good lately ( 0.67 points per minute ) historically he is around 0.85, so I expect this to start showing soon. Hopefully from tonight.

On the Serbian side, Loyd is the man. The way his is performing, how his team utilises him and how effective he has been make him a must pick.

Walden and O’Bryant are priced correctly and are good options.

If you want to take a shot at someone at lower price, I would go to Davidovac or Terry since both will get close to 20 minutes and they might fall into a rebound or two to boost their totals.

Priority Plays: Loyd, Rodriguez, LeDay

Secondary Plays: Micov, Shields, Walden, O’Bryant, Davidovac, Terry, Roll

That’s all for today.

Good luck and have a great Fantasy Day.
