The so-called “Devil Week” starts with 5 games in today’s Euroleague Fantasy Tournament slate and they offer plenty of opportunities.

Let’s dive right into it!

Zenit St. Petersburg vs Khimki (-2.5) 159.0

Zenit grinded out a victory last week vs ASVEL, in what was an ugly, slow-paced game.

I am hoping we will see a faster game tonight and with more points against a Khimki team that does not play good defense.

Poythress is the priority for me here. His price is fair at 11m, he is averaging 1.05 points per minute and playing against a team that just cannot defend the PF position.

Pangos is another one that I will have shares of tonight. He is a player that I believe that can smash any slate and I expect him to have his way around this Khimki defense.

Billy Baron and Will Thomas are also in consideration and Gudaitis, just because Khimki has Monroe, so I believe he will play a lot of minutes.

From Khimki, Shved is always in consideration but at this price, I do not know if I will have a lot of him.

Monroe is playing very well lately and I want some lineups with him and also, I would have some lineups with Jerebko, since he has been historically good against Zenit and gets a good matchup.

Priority Plays: Poythress, Pangos, Monroe

Secondary Plays: Shved, Baron, Thomas, Jerebko, Gudaitis

Anadolu Efes Istanbul vs Bayern Munich (-6) 158.5

At the time I am writing this, we do not know if Larkin and/or Beaubois will play and this complicates things (again) for the Efes backcourt.

They are priced way too high, especially if Larkin is in, but with all of them having the potential to break the slate, I have an interest in them.

Micic and Simon would be my top priorities, especially if both Larkin and Beaubois but even if only one of them is out.

From the frontcourt, Pleiss is one option for sure and I would take a shot at Singleton simply because his price is too low.

From the Munich side, Baldwin and Reynolds are the obvious choices but are too expensive for my taste and Lucic is a no at his price tag.

Weiler-Babb on the other hand is priced very reasonably, especially if you take into consideration that he is projecting to have 20.2 fantasy points.

Zipser and Thomas are also good value choices, coming off 30 and 21 fantasy points night.

Priority Plays: Micic, Pleiss, Weiller-Babb, Reynolds

Secondary Plays: Baldwin, Simon, Thomas, Lucic, Zipser

Zalgiris vs CSKA (-6) 159

Grigonis and Lauvergne are questionable but they are both expected to play.

I am very interested in Grigonis since he is priced very nicely at 10.2m. This is too low for a player that averages close to 20 points per game for the season, even though they are playing CSKA.

The other player that I am looking at from the Zalgiris side is Walkup. In 7/8 games he had double-digit fantasy points and in 4/5 of the last games, he has 19 or more. This is something that I cannot ignore.

Jokubaitis is back from COVID and he might be a sneaky play and I would also consider Hayes at his price.

Jumping on the CSKA side, Mike James is the obvious choice for me. Playing against a team that gives up 1.05 points against his position and with the game projected to have a good pace, I just cannot see how I can avoid him.

Shengelia is another good play here since Voightman will be out and he will get more playing time and more touches.

Hackett and Hilliard are options also but I just cannot separate the two, so choose with your gut.

Priority Plays: James, Grigonis, Walkup, Shengelia

Secondary Plays: Hackett, Hilliard, Jokubaitis, Lauvergne

Baskonia vs Fenerbahce (-1.5) 153.0

Polonara is the main target for me from the Baskonia side of the game.

His price is fair and he is coming off a bad game, so ownership will be low on him.

I will have shares of both Henry and Vidoza and will also have some of Giedraitis.

I will go back to Lorenzo Brown tonight. I am hoping that people will be afraid after the Barcelona game and I will get him in low ownership.

Also, the same thing applies to Vesely.

From the rest of the Fener players, I will have some shares of Eddie, Pierre, and Ali Muhammed but not too much, since trying to find out who will go off tonight is very hard.

Priority Plays: Lorenzo Brown, Polonara

Secondary Plays: Vesely, Henry, Eddie, Vidoza, Ali Muhammed,

Valencia vs Panathinaikos (-5.5) 160

Dubljevic, Kalinic and Prepelic are my main target from the Valencia side.

All 3 of them have been on fire lately and with Van Rossom being out tonight, their usage will get a nice bump.

Vives could also be a sneaky play at a very good price. His floor is around 13 points and although his ceiling is not that big, he can give us something close to 20 points.

From Panathinaikos side, everything depends on Nedovic.

If he is out, Papapetrou, Mack and Foster will become a priority play from me.

If he is in, I will use him and Papapetrou only.

Papagiannis is also someone I want in my lineups, since he seems to be in good form and is in a good match up.

White and Sant Roos are also worth considering.

Priority Plays: Dubljevic, Prepelic, Papapetrou

Secondary Plays: Nedovic, Papagiannis, Kalinic, Mack, Vives, White
