Let’s dive right into it!
5 games in today’s Euroleague Fantasy Tournament slate and they offer plenty of opportunities given all the players that are going to be out.

Fenerbahce Istanbul (-5.0) vs Khikmi 161.5
Danillo Barthel remains out for FBD, so no changes that I know of to the active roster.
I’m a big fan of rolling out shares of Nando DeColo and Jan Vesely today, both have had two down games in a row and should be lower owned in an up-tempo game that they’re favored in. Lorenzo Brown is also a solid GPP play and is cheaper than DeColo. If Ahmet Duverioglu gets the start at center again I have an interest. He’s a fppm monster and if he gets minutes anywhere exceeding the high teens he should be a great value. Our boy Shved still isn’t priced high enough on DK and as noted by our friend @3pitchatbat this morning, there is no reason to fade him on this slate if running multiple lineups. Erick McCollum is the second-best guard on the team and is solidly in play for me, especially in non-Shved lineups.
Devin Booker is actually listed as OUT today, so we don’t have to worry about him being listed active and not playing again.
This opens up minutes for the bigs who had success last Friday like Greg Monroe, Jordan Mickey, and Jonas Jerebko.
I prefer them (price considered), Mickey,>Monroe>Jerebko, with Monroe being a very close 1B to Mickey’s 1A. Priority
Plays: DeColo, Vesely, Shved
Secondary Plays: Brown, McCollum, Mickey, Monroe, Jerebko
Zalgiris vs Real Madrid (-5.5) 157.5
Marius Grigonis is an excellent play, and his price hasn’t risen enough for me to lose interest. He is scoring dependent, but in my opinion, this is baked into the price tag.
Rokas Jokubaitis is OUT with COVID, which is why he late scratched last week. His absence should once again leave more usage for Thomas Walkup, who I have interest in for the first time this season.
The forwards from this team leave a lot to be desired from an upside standpoint, but none are priced above high, so I’m fine with a one-off on Nigel Hayes or Jeffrey Lauvergne.
Real Madrid is hard to figure out from a DFS perspective thus far.
Facundo Campazzo has been coming off the bench until the last game. He still got limited minutes in the blowout of Bayern, but if he were to start again I would have an interest.
Walter Tavares has also seen his minutes flatten out this season and is not blocking shots at the same rate as last year. Still, I have some interest.
Trey Thompkins has been the best player from a box score standpoint and is in play off the bench.
My favorite play from this game is Anthony Randolph, who returned from injury last game with 22.25dk pts in 17 minutes. He’s still too cheap and a great value.
Rudy Fernandez and Gabriel Deck will be OUT, which opens up Nico Laprovittola as a GPP play .
Priority Plays: Randolph
Secondary Plays: Grigonis, Campazzo, Tavares, Hayes, Lauvergne, Thomplons, Laprovittola
Bayern Munich (-4.0) vs Crvena Zvezda 152.5
Wade Baldwin has been one of the highest owned players each slate he’s on and for good reason. Only one game with less than 11 shot attempts shows he has the opportunity to put up a nice score, backed up by his results of at least 25.5 pts in all but one of his games. The important note in my opinion is that his ceiling thus far is 29.25 pts. We get exceptional security from a Baldwin play, but I worry that the upside isn’t quite there.
At his price, I think we may have better luck targeting Vladimir Lucic cheaper who busted hard last game. We can expect similar production from Lucic at lower ownership. Josh Reynolds has been an fppm beast thus far, but his minutes leave a lot to be desired. Deep GPP play for me.
Jordan Lloyd has earned his price tag . Last time out his 14 shot attempts were his lowest mark on the year, and he still gave us 18/7/3/1 en route to 32.75 pts. He’s a great volume play today if you can fit him. Langston Hall is in play in non-Lloyd lineups.
Our favorite play from this side will be Johnny O’Bryant, henceforth referred to as JOB in the chat. His price is just too cheap for a low-end NBA quality player who got 19 minutes in his first appearance last week.
Look to Emanuel Terry for salary relief if you need it .
Priority Plays Lloyd, Baldwin, Lucic, O’Bryant
Secondary Plays: Reynolds, Hall, Terry
Panathinaikos vs CSKA Moscow (-6.5) 156.5
Their best player Ioannis Papapetrou (love it) should be back from his rib injury after practicing in full yesterday.
Before the injury he was one of the safest minutes plays in the league, taking on a bigger role for PAO after they lost a lot of their stat leaders from last season. I love him today.
Kostas Mitoglou has double-doubled in 1/4 games and was a rebound away from the bonus in another. He’s a bit expensive for my taste today but is most certainly in play with a 40 fppt ceiling.
Howard Saint-Roos is in play as he can fill up the box score in all categories but needs to shoot above average to get you there. Note that Keifer Sykes left the team, so Marcus Foster could be in for more minutes as well.
Mike James off the bench doesn’t make sense but he continues to be the sixth man for CSKA. He should be the lowest owned of those top-priced guards keeping him firmly in play for GPPs.
Will Clyburn is in a similar boat, a starting-caliber player who may come off the bench. Hard to get there for his price tag today for me. My favorite CSKA player is far and away Nikola Milutinov, who got back to full minutes last game with 25. At his price, he’s a smash play today.
Priority Plays: Papapetrou, Milutinov
Secondary Plays: Mitoglou, James, Clyburn, Saint-Roos, Foster, Hackett
Valencia Basket (-2.5) vs AX Milan 155.0
The mid-afternoon hammer today gives us two teams with a myriad of injuries.
Even so, Valencia doesn’t provide us with great plays today. Bojan Dubljevic will be under-owned for his upside so I don’t mind a shot on him. Nikola Kalinic has been extremely consistent and if I played cash I would think hard about putting him in. If he fits as the last guy in I don’t hate Louis Labeyrie, who had a huge scoring output in VBC’s last domestic game. One of my least favorite teams this slate.
On the other side, Milan has some places we can attack. Sergio Rodriguez has taken on a bigger role with Malcolm Delaney out, and Shavon Shields has an attractive ceiling for the price. Vladimir Micov is making his first appearance of the season today and started all but one game last season, averaging 12 ppg.
I can’t play him at his price but he’s the only thing that gives me pause about the usage for the two aforementioned guards.
Kyle Hines is worth a look as the last guy in.
Priority Plays: None
Secondary Plays: Rodriguez, Shields, Dubljevic, Kalinic , Labeyrie, Hines
