Welcome to the Wednesday edition of the Champions League Late Slate on Fanteam.

We have 6 games in the Champions League Wednesday Late Slate

Below are a few interesting plays to get you started

Roman Burki (9.3m) the Dortmund shot-stopper looks appealing here at his price and coming off a clean sheet in game week 2 against Zenit.

Another player to consider would be Edouard Mendy (10.2) who is playing at home and in a good matchup.

Neto (11.3m) is also an option but he looks too pricey for me.

Generally, I agree with the strategy of paying down at this spot so with that in mind I am going to build my teams with the main core of Angelino (7.2m), Akanji (8.9m), and Orban (6.3m), because these 3 look the ones with the most value to me.

Value on the slate look to be the Brugge pair of Vormer (6.4m) and Ketelaere (6.2m) but if you want to pay up for the studs Ziyech (11.8m) and Dembele (13.0m) look primed for good nights.

I must start with the best player on the planet here Messi (15.2m).He’s expensive but can’t see him getting less than 10 points here.

If you want to be contrarian, you could play Fati (13.6m).

Others to consider would be Werner (12.8m) and Haaland (12.8m).

Value in the forward range would be Nguen (5.3m) since playing him would give you some salary relief in order to fit the big guys in.

As for stacks …Barcelona and Chelsea look like the obvious choices for a stack but they would be high-priced so pick wisely if you choose to go with them.
